Horizon

Mechanisms

Horizon chairs are offered with Operator Synchro or Operator Plus mechanisms with side tension adjustment to enable users to achieve a perfectly balanced, free float movement, regardless of weight. All control levers are easily reached and have clearly printed functions to aid adjustment.

For correct pressure behind the knees the seat has a flexible waterfall front and 80mm of horizontal adjustment, accessed by means of a unique rotary control. For ease of use and to maintain clean lines, the lumbar support inflation bulb is integrated into the front underside of the seat. The back rest tapers above the waist line and combines with a flexible upper section for unrestricted upper arm and body movement whilst maintaining optimum support. The height adjustable arms are spring assisted with soft polyurethane pads.

INFLATABLE LUMBAR SUPPORT

The Horizon Task chairs have an integrated inflatable lumbar support and ratchet back height adjustment to precisely locate and adjust the degree of support required.

SEAT SLIDER

There is 80mm of horizontal seat adjustment, accessed by a unique rotary control.

OPERATOR PLUS MECHANISM

This mechanism has lever operated back angle adjustment that can be locked in any position or left to follow the user's movements in dynamic free float mode. The tension of the back movement can be adjusted by means of a rotary handle. The seat angle can be set in 3 positions, forward tilt, horizontal and backwards tilt.

OPERATOR SYNCHRO MECHANISM

With this mechanism the back and seat recline together in a fixed 2:1 ratio. They can be locked in position or left to follow the user's movements in dynamic, free float mode. The tension of the recline can be adjusted by means of a rotary handle.
